Dragon Hills
If you like old arcade games like Deathworm, then you will probably enjoy Dragon Hills. In Dragon Hills You play as a princess who is seeking to take revenge by destroying everything in your path while riding on the back of a dragon. Graphics are decent here and there is major enjoyment from the destructible environments. You can also upgrade your weapons which you’ll need for the boss fight encounters that happen throughout the game.
League of Angels – Fire Raiders
League of Angels is a sidescrolling RPG that looks and feels a little like Dragon’s Crown on the PS Vita, except you have many more heroes to recruit and you can evolve them into more powerful versions. Each hero has their own set of magic spells and abilities, and the game seems to have some satisfying combat.
Playworld Superheroes
Playworld Superheroes is a neat little action game that focuses on what many children probably dreamed of, becoming a super hero and defending the earth. You start out in your treehouse where you can design your own super hero suit and then travel around defeating enemies. You can also gain new super powers by unlocking them through gameplay, and use those powers to fend of the alien invasion of earth.
Adventures of Poco Eco
This is probably the favorite of the top games released this week. It’s an adventure puzzle game that takes imagination and runs with it. The levels of the game are animated in 3D, so the visuals are quite awesome, and the gameplay is rather fun as you have to help Poco the explorer solve tons of mini puzzles to help him find his lost sounds.
Cava Racing
Arcade games can be loads of fun, especially if you grew up in the era where arcade games were the what’s what of video games. Cava Racing is a top down down racer with some interesting visuals, online leaderboards for a little friendly competition, and multiple tracks to test your skills.
BeatDefense
If you couldn’t guess by the name, BeatDefense is a rhythm based defense game where you’ll need to keep to the rhythm of the squares that pop up on screen to stop attacks of raining missiles and other artillery from destroying the city. It’s also filled with retro visuals for those who enjoy a little throwback now and again.
