Samsung officially launched the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge just a few days ago on April 10th, and many consumers likely rushed out to grab themselves the newest handsets, Samsung’s first set of devices made completely of metal and glass giving their Galaxy S line a more premium look than ever before. A company called Legend, which is based in Helsinki, Finland, is taking that idea of premium quality and adding a level of luxury to both the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge, offering multiple different luxury handset designs for both devices, and they have another model on the way next month.
For consumers who want something a little more luxurious but still want to keep things simple, Legend has multiple models which are made with varying precious metals, consisting of 18K Gold, 24K Gold, Rose Gold, 950 Platinum, or Black Rhodium for the plating. These options make the device one solid color if you want something flashy but not too flashy, with pricing set at $2,320 for either the 128GB Samsung Galaxy S6 or the 128GB Galaxy S6 Edge with any of these options. Legend also offers a very small amount of laser engraved Limited Edition luxury designs for both devices, there will only be 10 made of each design in either handset model, and customers have the choice of Alhambra, Art Deco, or Wild Thing designs, with these Limited Edition versions of the handset costing $2,430.
For the fourth limited edition model that is currently available, Legend takes premium grade Crocodile leather and dyes it to the desired color of the customers, using this for the back of the device, with Gold edges of the housing all the way around. This model is called the Crocodylus and costs the same as the other limited edition model handsets, however, Legend is offering more of these and will have 50 total. Lastly, there will be a new model coming out in May which is encrusted with VS1 grade diamonds studded on the bezel of the device. This last model is for the big spenders, coming in at a price tag of $14,000. Just think, you could spend $17,000 on the Apple Edition Apple Watch, or you could save $3,000 and buy a diamond studded 128GB Samsung Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge instead. Decisions, decisions.
