Letv's Newly-Announced Flagships To Launch In India By The End Of This Year

A couple of days ago, a well-known Chinese video streaming company has announced three new smartphones, the Letv One, One Pro and Max. Smartphone manufacturing is definitely not Letv’s first business, but the company seems rather determined to succeed. The three flagship handsets that they announced the other definitely prove that, all three of those handsets are high-end, premium offerings by this company and sport really sleek design. These handsets were announced in China and do offer really thin bezels. The company has already announced that the handsets will be coming to the U.S. and India in due time, and now we have some additional info regarding Letv’s launch plans in India.

According to the source, these handsets will launch in India by the end of 2015. The company has also said that they’ll bring their content services to the country as well. Letv actually offers access to over 100,000 TV series and 5,000 movies in China, and at least part of that will be available in India by the end of this year. In the report, the source also mentions that the company has already started preparing international variants of these devices which will ship with Google services built in. The three announced devices look rather similar, though they’re significantly different one from another. The lowest-end Letv One (X600) handset is made out of plastic and glass and it is powered by MediaTek’s Mt6795 64-bit octa-core processor, while it features a 5.5-inch 1080p display on the front. This handset packs in 3GB of RAM and a 3,000mAh battery. The 13 and 5-megapixel camera sensors are available here on its back and front, respectively. The rear-facing snapper has OIS included, and this is a dual-SIM handset.

The Letv One Pro sports a 5.5-inch QuadHD display along with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. This handset is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 64-bit octa-core processor and it will ship with a 3,000mAh battery. The 13-megapixel snapper is available on the back of this device, and a 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera is located up front. This is also a dual-SIM handset and it is made out of metal and glass. The biggest one out of the bunch, Letv Max, features a 6.33-inch QuadHD display, 4GB of RAM and is also powered by the Snapdragon 810 SoC. The 21-megapixel camera is available on its back, and it has the same front-facing sensors as the Letv One Pro. This is also a dual-SIM device, and all of the announced devices support 4G LTE connectivity.
