LG Posts New Teaser Video That Highlights The Use Of Genuine Leather For The G4

LG isn’t slated to announce their upcoming flagship device until the end of this month on April 28th, but that isn’t stopping them from posting up teaser images and videos across social media, on YouTube and other outlets. This wouldn’t be the first LG teaser video that we’ve seen that attempts to focus on a specific attribute of the new phone, and it also won’t be the last. The video is short and is more of an ad-spot than a teaser as it plays out really like a commercial. The text is all in Korean as is the audio, except for the very last part of the video where they state the name “LG G4” which plays in English. With this being the case it is probably a commercial being played in the Korean markets.

The video merely focuses on the use of genuine leather throughout the short 15 seconds of playback, where you see them start from the process of selecting the leather, rolling it out and proceeding to measure out the needed material and eventually we see the finished product, which is a person holding the finalized LG G4 in their hands as they shift it from side to side. We get a small glimpse at what it looks like in person, and even though official images have already leaked seeing it on video feels more true to life.

With these teasers, leaked images and a couple of upcoming events, LG seems to be preparing for a big push to advertise the G4 after launch. Just next week they have the official announcement event taking place where they’ll reveal the phone to the world and talk about pricing as well as availability, and there also holding a contest for interested people to apply and get their hands on the device to test drive and review the G4 before it hits store shelves. They’re only selecting about 4,000 people for the test program and even though you don’t get to keep the device, it gives users a chance to feel it in hand and play with it to see how things work, which is a smart move by LG.
