LG Offers Unique Opportunity To "Test Drive" The LG G4 For 30 Days Before Launch

Today, from LG Electronics, comes perhaps an opportunity no one can pass on. As part of the introduction of its new smartphone the LG G4  to the general public, LG will select 4,000 consumers collectively from fifteen different countries who will “test drive” the all new LG G4 in the weeks before its official launch. The program will begin today in LG’s home country of South Korea, and then will further expand out to other regions which includes the United States, China, Singapore, Brazil, Indonesia, Turkey, India, France, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Mexico, Hong Kong, and Japan.

At the moment LG hasn’t disclosed specific details about how interested persons will be able to be considered for the test drive process but it seems likely they will have consumers fill out a survey, after which they will analyze the responses for each person and then proceed to select the final applicants. LG notes that each region may have different selection criteria, and anyone who participates for the chance of being picked to check out the LG G4 prior to the launch can increase their chances of being selected by taking to their favorite social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Weibo and sharing the details with friends, family, and followers. Once selected for the devices, the final applicants in each country will be given an LG G4 for up to 30 days to experience its design and features hands-on , including its new UX, the high-performance rear camera and the new QHD display just to name a few. While selected applicants will only get to keep the LG G4 no longer than 30 days, LG is sweetening the pot with prizes to be awarded at the end of the test drive process pending the completion of currently “unknown” tasks which LG will ask the applicants to perform during their time with the device.

Customers are an integral part to LG’s success according to LG’s President and CEO Juno Cho who states, “Customers are our best fans and we think this would be an exciting and unique way to get our most important mobile product of the year close to the public. We’re putting the success of LG G4 in the hands of consumers before the launch because we believe they are the best judge of a great user experience, beyond just benchmarks and speed tests.” Keep in mind there are only 4,000 lucky individuals who will get the chance to check out the LG G4 for an entire month before the official launch, so those interested will want to watch keep a close eye on LG’s local website as well as their profiles on social media in the “coming days” to make sure they don’t miss the chance to apply.
