Oppo R7 Leaks Yet Again In Images And Video, Both Black And White Variants Pictured

Oppo’s ‘bezel-less’ smartphone has been leaking all over the place. It turns out that the Oppo R7 handset isn’t so bezel-less after all, Oppo curved the glass on top of the screen in order to reflect light and make it look like the phone is bezel-less, and it’s not. Still, this is quite a neat trick and the phone has minimal bezel 0n the sides, and it looks quite sleek. We’ve truly seen a ton of leaked images of this handset thus far and a couple of videos as well. In over 90% of those leaks the phone sports 3 capacitive buttons below the display, and yesterday’s leak actually showed off a device with a physical home button. It is possible that the company plans to release more than one Oppo R7 version out in the market. Speaking of which, the Oppo R7 Plus was also mentioned, but that’s a completely different story.

Anyhow, a bunch of new Oppo R7 images and a video surfaced in China, the phone is actually sporting 3 capactive buttons below the display this time around as well. This design actually goes hand-in-hand with the vast majority of leaks we’ve seen thus far and is quite possibly the final design of this handset. As you can see in the images down below, this handset sports a metal frame. The glass panel which cover the front portion of the device is also pictured in the gallery, and it will give you a good idea how Oppo managed to pull off the light reflection trick. The phone is also pictured in both Black and White color options down below. In case you’d like to check out the video, click here.

We really don’t have that many information regarding this phone’s specifications, but some leaks have been saying that it will be powered by MediaTek’s MT6795 64-bit octa-core processor and a 20-7-megapixel camera (Sony’s sensor). We cannot confirm any of this, of course, but that SoC and camera sensor have been mentioned a number of times in the last couple of months. Oppo is expected to announce this handset in the second half of this year, we still don’t know when exactly though. Stay tuned, we’ll report back when new info arrives.
