If you take plenty of photos on your smartphone then you may already use some sort of software to help you edit and perfect your pictures. Depending on what it is you want or need from the editing process there are tons of apps to help achieve a new look to your images, like Instagram if you just want filters and the ability to share within one app, or something like Photoshop or even Snapseed. If you use Snapseed, you already know the kind of power it can bring to your editing experience and all the stuff that it offers.
Soon Snapseed will be able to bring users even more power and editing features as it’s beginning to get an update today to the new and improved Snapseed 2, bringing in new editing tools and functions that will enhance the editing experience and still deliver a first class app to make your images look their absolute best. Snapseed 2 should be hitting the Play Store for some of you right about now but there was no listing of when exactly the update is going live, so it may show up for some and not for others. The only thing to do here is be patient, but the app should be live for most or all users by the end of the day.
With the update, Snapseed 2 brings in a visual overhaul to the user interface, a brand new icon and plenty of under the hood changes with new functions. Some highlighted details though are the ability to take filters and apply them to only specific areas of the image that you designate the change to with the brush tool, and there are new tools making their debut in version 2.0 as well like the lens blur, tonal contrast, intelligent perspective transform, and spot healing. Perhaps one of the best parts though, is that users can now edit free of worry, as any edits made to an image can be undone or re-edited via the Stacks function. Stacks will also let you take those edits from one image and copy them to another if you want the same effect on another picture you just took or had sitting in the gallery that might need some freshening up.
