T-Mobile started pre-orders for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge a couple weeks ago. And actually started shipping them a little over a week ago, so not really pre-orders anymore. Both models will be available in T-Mobile stores tomorrow, April 10th. Today, T-Mobile announced that sales of the Galaxy S6 for them have been double what the Galaxy S5 was. Which the Galaxy S5 did sell pretty well, so that’s saying a lot. That’s not all, according to T-Mobile. The HTC One M9 has also already outsold its predecessor, according to T-Mobile:
“In fact, in the first 10 days since we started selling (and shipping) the Samsung Galaxy S 6 phones, sales are already nearly double those of the Galaxy S 5 – previously our most popular Galaxy phone ever. Likewise, in the first 10 days of HTC One M9 sales, it has already surpassed sales of the M8 during the same time period. “
Tomorrow, you’ll be able to walk in and get a Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge from T-Mobile. They are offering it for $0 down and $28.33 per month for the Galaxy S6, $32.49 for the Galaxy S6 Edge and $27.08 for the HTC One M9. Pair that with Contract Freedom, and you have a pretty good deal on your hands. Of course, John Legere was not shy about letting his competitors know about their plans for the Galaxy S6 launch. In fact, he even told Sprint that customers aren’t dumb. With Verizon and AT&T he used the same old “unlimited data” joke. Basically saying that they don’t offer it, so why buy one of these devices from them.
If you are looking to switch to T-Mobile, this is probably the best time to do so. T-Mobile will pay up to $650 to get you off your current carrier and into a Magenta smartphone. That includes paying off your AT&T Next balance, Verizon Edge or Sprint’s Easy Pay balance. That’s a pretty good deal, actually. Especially if the price was keeping you with your current carrier.
