Samsung has gotten a lot of our attention lately, increasingly so after having revealed their two most advanced smartphones yet, the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge. Their phones are stealing the show on most Android or tech oriented websites, and rightfully so. To up the hype, Samsung has strategically announced that the Galaxy S6 models will come in an Iron Man version. The cooperation between Marvel and Samsung couldn’t come at a better time, as both firms are in the midst of releasing their top of the line product. Samsung does so with the Galaxy S6 Edge, and Marvel with their new blockbuster Avengers: Age of Ultron.
In the video linked below, we see Samsung showing off their fancy and state of the art production and assembly process. It sounds a bit like Apple jargon, trying to impress us with the intricate ways they meticulously put together every little piece with the utmost precision. Nonetheless, anybody would probably consider buying a Galaxy S6 after watching the video where Samsung shows us how they “redefine absolute precision”. And truth of the matter is, if the fact that the phone has got 8 processors working as one, or ultrasonically fused circuitry and frame doesn’t really do it for you, just the sheer aesthetics of the phone probably will.
As we mentioned in many posts before, Samsung has to keep pushing and promoting their phone to the best of its abilities, like it does with this video here, to compete with its Asian rivals. Specifically Xiaomi who has recently released the Mi Note & Mi Note Pro. Samsung crushed all expectations of putting a high end phone on the market at a more competitive price to compete with Xiaomi, when they revealed the price of their new flagship, the S6 Edge. The starting model at 32GB will set you back $800, whilst the 128GB version will cost you $1000. Those prices may be competitive with Apple, but certainly not with Xiaomi who sells their flagship Mi Note Pro for a stunning $480. They’re very much on par with Samsungs’ S6 series, which makes us wonder how Samsung is ever going to regain its position as number 1 smartphone seller, which it lost to Xiaomi last year.
