T-Mobile Will Sell The LG G Stylo & LG Leon On May 20

LG unveiled its latest flagship device last month, the LG G4; a highly anticipated smartphone that captured all of the media’s attention, opaquing two other mid-range devices that have a lot to offer. The LG G Stylo and LG Leon were announced two weeks prior to the incredibly popular LG G4, while not as powerful as the flagship, both the LG G Stylo and LG Leon have some unique features that could attract some potential buyers. Most carriers and retailers have already announced that the LG G4 will be available for sale with them, but only a few have talked about selling the other two mid-range alternatives that LG has to offer. T-Mobile is one of the few carriers that has publicized its intentions to sell the LG G Stylo and the LG Leon; which, according to newly leaked documents, will be sold starting May 20, five days before the LG G4.

The LG G Stylo is the latest LG device to come with an included stylus, featuring great functionality for a relatively small price. The phablet boasts a 5.7-inch display with a 1280 x 720 resolution, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 running at 1.2GHz and 1.5GB of RAM. The LG G Stylo also features an 8MP rear-facing camera along with a 5MP front-facing one. The other device to be sold on May 20 is named LG Leon, and will be sigthly cheaper than the LG G Stylo, at the expense of some functionality and the removal of the stylus. The LG Leon features a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with a clock speed of 1.2GHz, a slightly curved 4.5-inch display, a 5MP rear facing camera and a VGA front camera. The LG Leon promises to bring all features typically found on an LG smartphone, including Gesture shot, KnockOn, and QuickMemo+.

It was already confirmed that T-Mobile and MetroPCS were going to sell both the LG G Stylo and LG Leon, but an exact launch date was yet to be announced, until today. New leaked documents suggest that the mid-range smartphones, will be both launched by T-Mobile on May 20, giving their customers the possibility of buying a cheaper smartphone, five days before the flagship LG G4 is made available for sale. This is a great move by T-Mobile, because as soon as the LG G4 is sold, all of the customers attention will be turned to LG’s flagship device, once again opaquing the LG G Stylo and LG Leon’s launch.
