T-Mobile And Metro PCS Will Pick Up The Mid-Range LG G Stylo And LG Leon LTE

LG has just officially announced their newest flagship, the highly anticipated LG G4. Numerous carriers around the world have already confirmed that the new device will be purchasable from them, and carriers like T-Mobile (which has just recently announced its quarterly report) will not only sell the LG G4, but will also have two additional devices with a more accessible price. The LG G Stylo and the LG Leon LTE, both of which were released last week will be sold by T-Mobile and MetroPCS. The LG G Stylo and LG Leon LTE were already introduced earlier this month but at the time there was no information on which carriers or stores planned on offering these two devices for sale.

The LG G Stylo is a device that offers some added functionality for a lower price range, all of this at the expense of the more premium specs that are inside the LG G4. The LG G Stylo features a 5.7-inch display with a 1280 x 720 display and In-Cell technology, a new kind of touchscreen technology which has been praised by LG to further improve touch sensors that are included in regular devices. The key feature of the LG G Stylo is as its name implies, a built-in stylus. The LG G Stylo is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with a clock speed of 1.2GHz and 1.5GB of RAM, making the device a mid-range one. The recently unveiled smartphone features an 8MP rear-facing camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.

The LG Leon LTE is another mid-range device that will be sold alongside the LG G4 and the LG G Stylo. This device will feature a somewhat less powerful quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor running at 1.2 GHz and with 1GB of RAM. The LG Leon LTE has the usual features you would find in a mid-range LG phone, including Gesture shot, KnockOn, and QuickMemo+ among others. Something peculiar about this smartphone is that the 4.5-inch display has a slight curvature and rear buttons similar to what you would find in the LG G series. The LG Leon LTE also boasts a 5MP rear facing camera and a VGA front camera.

It is clear that both the LG G Stylo and the LG Leon LTE won’t be as praised as the LG G4, but that’s not what LG was aiming for. The whole Android ecosystem is about options, LG will be giving potential customers more freedom to choose their optimal device with these two new smartphones to be sold along the flagship LG G4. As of today, T-Mobile and MetroPCS are the first retailers that will offer the LG G Stylo and Lg Leon LTE, but surely more will follow and give their customers more devices to choose from.
