This Is Xiaomi Mi Note Pro's Retail Packaging, The Device Launches Tomorrow

Xiaomi has announced quite a few devices since the beginning of this year. The company has announced a number of smartphones accompanied by various smart gadgets. The Mi Note and Mi Note Pro devices are Xiaomi’s newest flagship offerings, though the Mi Note Pro is definitely the more powerful of the two. These two handsets have been announced back in January, and the Mi Note has been available for purchase for quite some time now, the device is even available in a special Bamboo Version. It took Xiaomi almost half a year to make the Mi Note Pro available for purchase, the device will be released tomorrow, and the company’s CEO has released a new teaser.

If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll see what Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun, posted on his official Weibo (Chinese social network) account. This is, of course, Mi Note Pro’s retail packaging. We already know how the Mi Note Pro will look like, so there’s no much mystery here actually. The Mi Note Pro is identical to its brother, the Mi Note. This device sports a metal unibody design and top-of-the-line spec sheet which we’re going to talk about in a minute. The packaging itself is quite understated as you can see, it’s basically a black box with Xiaomi’s logo imprinted on the front.

The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro sports a 5.7-inch 2K (2560 x 1440) IPS LCD display along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of non-expandable built-in storage. Xiaomi’s flagship is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor along with an Adreno 430 GPU for graphics rendering. The 13-megapixel OIS camera is located on the back of this device and flanked by a dual-LED, dual tone flash. The 4-megapixel camera (2um pixel size, like the front-facing shooter on the One M9) is located on the front-side of this device. Android 5.0.1 Lollipop will come pre-installed on this device with Xiaomi’s MIUI skin on top of Google’s OS. This device supports 4G LTE connectivity and will also offer dual SIM, dual standby option (micro SIM + nano SIM). The 3,000mAh non-removable battery will ship with the Mi Note Pro, while the handset measures 155.1 x 77.6 x 7mm and weighs 161 grams.
