Doogee is a Chinese smartphone OEM which mostly releases extremely affordable mid-range devices. The Doogee Valencia2 Y100 Pro, Doogee F3 and Doogee X1 have been mentioned quite recently, and will quite probably launch in the next couple of weeks / months. Well, we’ve talked about another Doogee-branded device recently, the Doogee S6000, which seemed really interesting because of the 6,000mAh battery which will be located on the inside of this handset. Well, our sources at the company sent us some additional info about this handset, read on.
We’ve already talked about the specs of this handset, but it seems like that info was a bit off. We initially thought that the Doogee S6000 will sport 1GB of RAM, but it seems like this handset will ship with 2GB of RAM after all. This is great news, especially considering the phone will keep its previously reported $139.99 price tag. The Doogee S6000 will feature a 5.5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display along with 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB). This handset will be powered by MediaTek’s MT6735 64-bit quad-core processor running at 1.5GHz, and will be 9mm thick, which is great considering it will pack a huge 6,000mAh unit on the inside. The 8-megapixel camera will be located on the back of this handset, and a 5-megapixel snapper will be available up front. The Doogee S6000 will be made out of Zinc Titanium, and you can also expect it to ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
There you have it, the Doogee S6000 will pack more RAM than we initially though, and will keep its affordable price tag. The phone’s general design isn’t anything to write home about, but it looks alright, and the build materials are definitely premium. The phone will sport 3 capacitive buttons below the display (menu, home and back, respectively) and you can expect it to launch in August, at least according to the latest info we’ve received. We’ve already shared a number of Doogee S6000 images recently, but our source sent us some additional ones this time around. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll see a number of nice real life Doogee S6000 images which will give you a good look at this handset.
