EA's E3 2015 Mobile Roundup

The annual video game conference known as E3 officially kicked off today with plenty of news about upcoming games and many of which were likely very exciting to see and hear about. EA is one of the world’s most well-known publishers when it comes to their expansive lineup of games across many platforms, with their apps having been downloaded 715 million times in over 230 countries with players having spent time in games equal to 400,000 years, and today they announced some new stuff to look forward to later on in the year and the year to come. One of the first things of note is an upcoming game from EA called Minions Paradise, which is described as a build/harvest game for mobile devices.

EA showed this off for the very first time today during the event with the opening cinematic of the game, which they’ll also be showing off all week and “getting it into people’s hands” in the mobile lounge behind closed doors. That means if you’re lucky enough to be at the event and you’re a fan of EA’s mobile titles, now is your chance to try something new. Also behind closed doors at the mobile lounge during the event all week, EA will be announcing and demoing EA Sports FIFA, which they state comes with new “console quality graphics” and improved gameplay.

The last things which EA will be showing off in the mobile lounge is the new season score features integrated into Madden NFL Mobile. With season score, EA is giving Madden NFL Mobile players a chance to accumulate points to be added to their season score which can be racked up and eventually used to redeem rewards once the new Madden NFL Mobile season starts, which EA states is going to be on August 19th. In addition, EA announced a brand new CCG game coming later this year based on the Star Wars franchise called Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, which EA labels as “massive” due to the fact that it covers the entire Star Wars universe including characters and elements from all the different Star Wars series like Clone Wars, and the original trilogy. While plenty of this is exciting, it’ll be even more exciting once you can get your hands on these new games as well as the changes coming to existing ones. You can also check out the trailer for Minions Paradise below, a game which is based on the Despicable Me  universe and those adorable little minions.
