The month of June has graced the Android platform with some wonderful new applications, some which are just a good bit of fun and other which provide vast amounts of usefulness that might cause you to wonder how you ever lived without them. We’ve rounded up the top 10 apps launched in June and have grouped them up for you below.
Luxe – Valet Parking On Demand
First up on the list is Luxe Valet Parking On Demand, which as you have probably already guessed allows users to easily request valet parking services right from the palm of their hands through this easy-to-use application. How it works is simple; Set up your valet request, drive to your designated location, and someone from Luxe will park your car for you.
CloudPlayer
If you value your own personal music library and want a little more listening freedom, CloudPlayer aims to give you that by setting you up to stream your personal music from various different cloud storage services like Dropbox, Box, and others. It comes from the makers of doubleTwist with the goal of providing non-restricted music playback.
Vessel
We have written about Vessel already when it launched earlier this month, but if you missed it, Vessel is an app which contains streaming media content much like YouTube, although users can pay for a subscription which gives them early access to the content they love from certain creators usually a few days before the videos are uploaded to YouTube. If you like to be the first to see things, Vessel might be a good solution for consuming your videos.
Kamcord
If you’re a mobile gamer who gets in more than their fair share of gaming time on a smartphone or tablet, Kamcord allows you to record your gameplay on screen with game audio and voice over abilities so you can commentate the games you play for others to watch. It’s quite the cool little app.
Colbr
This is a must have for Stephen Colbert fans. The app contains news and updates on Colbert’s upcoming role as the new host of The Late Show as he takes over for David Letterman, but it also has numerous video clips with hilarious Stephen Colbert antics.
Portal
Portal comes from the team behind Push Bullet, and aims to give users a quick and easy way to share files between PC and smartphone or tablet. You can transfer single files or entire folders, and the app boasts super quick transfer times even for files which are over 1GB in size which is great if you frequently have to transfer larger files around.
Adobe Photoshop Mix
If you’re a photo nut with smartphone pictures, Adobe’s new Photoshop Mix is a fun little app to mess around with. You can use it to easily cut out specific portions of images with the simple drag of a finger. You can also use it to merge images together rather effortlessly, and all your projects can be shared via multiple apps as well as saved to the Adobe Cloud.
Clock
This app is pretty simple and straightforward. It’s Google’s stock Android clock app from Lollipop bringing the touches of material design to any Android device on KitKat or higher. It isn’t as feature packed as some other clock apps, but if you just want something with the more basic features and a great looking UI, Clock is for you.
Amazon Cloud Drive
Amazon Cloud Drive is not a new service, and has been around as a cloud storage option for a while, but the Android app is now available out of beta and allow users to access all of their files across devices which are stored with Amazon Cloud Drive.
Shoot
Rounding out the list is Shoot, the new app for transferring files between devices from the team at BitTorrent. With Shoot, users can pick and choose the files they want to share with others, start the send process which generates a QR code, then those wishing to receive those files scan the QR code with Shoot on their own devices after hitting the “receive” button. Quick and painless.
