Featured: Top New Android Apps June 7th

Not every week brings along a ton of new apps worth mentioning, but there are some which users should pay some attention to. Here is a handful of some top apps which have recently launched which you may find useful and worth your time.

GameFly Streaming

This is an Android app technically, although you won’t find it on the Play Store or for Android TV. Right now the app is only available for the Amazon Fire TV, but if you happen to own one you can setup GameFly’s new streaming service and stream from a collection of top games to play.

Kamcord

Kamcord is for those who want to record their gameplay sessions for Android games and share those video streams with others. You can record the gameplay and the game audio for hundreds of games and them upload them for others to watch.

HTC Mirrorlink

Here’s another one of HTC’s dedicated apps which has launched onto the Play Store for HTC device owners. Mirrorlink lets users connect to their device to their car’s infotainment system using the Mirrolink standard, allowing users to control various apps and functions of their HTC device from the car console.

Hound

Hound is a new personal assistant app for Android not too unlike Google Now. You can use it to send messages or make calls, ask it questions, or ask it to show you results for the nearest restaurants and begin navigation all completely hands-free. Responses are rapid quick which is part of what makes it such a compelling app. It’s in closed beta only at the moment so you need an invite to use it, which you can request by installing and sending a request through the app.
