However, Acer smartphones might not come to mind with consumers in the market today. When we think of smartphones, big names come to mind such as HTC, LG, Samsung, and Sony. Part of this could be the fact that these big manufacturers put in quite a bit of money for marketing but another good part has to do with a reliable and more desirable handsets that are brought out for the general consumer. With that said, Acer is one manufacturer that hasn’t given up their ploy to deliver a handset device into various markets. One of these handsets was recently leaked online, the Acer Liquid Z630.
It would seem that Acer is bringing out a phablet based smartphone into the market in the near future. A prototype of the Acer Liquid Z630 was caught in a benchmark database that reveals some of the components inside that will be powering the smartphone. From the look of things, Acer Liquid Z630 will not bring down some of the more top-tier smartphones on the market today but instead will land safely within the mid-range realm of devices. Cracking open the device, you’ll find that the Acer Liquid Z630 handset comes packed with 16 GB of built-in storage, 2 GB of RAM, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, and a gyroscope. Powering the device up will be a MediaTek MT6735 Cortex-A53 1.3 GHz chipset. As for the GPU, Acer went with an ARM Mali-T720. Currently, the Acer Liquid Z630 smartphone will be running Google’s latest Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. You will want to note that these are not the final specifications for the smartphone, but we’ll, of course, keep you updated when the official details of the Acer Liquid Z630 are released by the manufacturer.
