LG Officially Unveiled The LG G4 In India For $803

The G4 is LG’s new flagship handset. The company has announced this thing back in April, and the device is already available in a number of markets all over the world. The leather LG G4 has been available for purchase in India since the beginning of this month, prior to LG’s official announcement. LG has revealed that the G4 will be announced in India on June 19th (right after the pre-order period ends), which is today, and this Korea-based company has stuck to their promise. The LG G4 has been officially announced in India.

The LG G4 sports a 5.5-inch QuadHD (2560 x 1440, 538 PPI) In-cell Touch Quantum display along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card). This handset is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz along with an Adreno 418 GPU. The 16-megapixel OIS camera (f/1.8 aperture, Laser Autofocus) is located on the back of the G4, and an 8-megapixel snapper can be found on its front side. The 3,000mAh battery is also a part of this package, and it’s removable by the way. The LG G4 also offers wireless charging, and dual-SIM connectivity, not to mention that you also can take advantage of 4G LTE data speeds here. Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed on this device with LG’s Optimus UX 4.0 UI on top of Google’s OS. The LG G4 measures 148.9 x 76.1 x 9.8mm and weighs 155 grams.

The LG G4 sports a rather similar design to its predecessor, but the device has a somewhat bigger chin this time around, and is curved. The LG G4, unlike its predecessor, comes in a number of variants, each of which sports different back cover options. As far as India goes, you can choose between Black, Red and Brown colors with leather finish, and in case you’d like to pick one up, you need to prepare Rs. 51,000 in order to do so. This is not exactly an affordable price tag, but that was to be expected. LG G4 is one of the highest-end devices we’ll see this year, and is one of the top smartphones to be announced thus far.
