Meizu Received Over 10 Million Reservations For M2 Note

Meizu is one of the fastest growing China-based smartphone manufacturers at the moment. This company has managed to attract consumers’ attention last year when they announced a number of really compelling devices which got great reviews all over the world. The company has announced the MX4, MX4 Pro and M1 Note devices last year, and each of them was really well-built, offered really responsive interface and they were all very affordable, especially considering the specs Meizu included on the inside.

The company has announced the Meizu M2 Note handset a week ago in China, and our review will be coming shortly. This is a direct successor to the M1 Note mid-ranger which was announced at the end of last year. Meizu has managed to improve the device, and yet it’s more affordable than its predecessor. Anyhow, the company has confirmed via their official Weibo (Chinese social network) page that they’ve received over 10 million reservations for the M2 Note in just one week. The Meizu M2 Note offers really compelling specifications, and is priced at 799 Yuan ($129) and 999 Yuan ($161) for 16 and 32GB models, respectively.

The Meizu M2 Note sports a 5.5-inch 108op (1920 x 1080) IGZO display, 2GB of DDR3 RAM and 16 and 32GB of expandable internal storage (expandable up to 128GB). This handset is powered by MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor running at 1.3GHz which ships with a Mali-T720 MP3 GPU for graphics. On the back of this handset you’ll be able to find a 13-megapixel snapper (f/2.2 aperture), while there’s a 5-megapixel shooter (f/2.0) located on its front side. Android 5.0 Lollipop comes pre-installed on this device with Meizu’s Flyme UI installed on top of it. This is a dual-SIM smartphone, and it does offer 4G LTE connectivity, both FDD-LTE and TD-LTE network bands are supported. The 3,100mAh battery is also a part of this package, and below the display you’ll find a physical home button, which wasn’t present on its predecessor.

This handset is available in a range of colors, including Blue, White, Gray and Rose options. The device will go on sale soon in China, and by the looks of it, it might sell better than its predecessor.
