Micromax Canvas Knight 2 Is Now Official In India

Micromax is India’s biggest smartphone manufacturer, and they usually release a ton of devices throughout the year. Micromax releases low and mid-range devices, the company has recently released the mid-range Canvas Tab P690 tablet, and is now back with yet another mid-range smartphone. This India-based company has released the Canvas Knight 2 handset, a direct successor to the Canvas Knight which was launched last year. Anyhow, let’s see what Canvas Knight 2 has to offer, shall we.

The Canvas Knight 2 features a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) AMOLED display with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top of it. 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage is also included here, and the microSD card slot is also available, so that you can expand the in-built storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor fuels this handset along with an Adreno 405 GPU for graphics. The 13-megapixel camera is available on the back of this thing (Sony’s IMX214 sensor, LARGAN 5P lens), and the LED flash is located next to it. The 5-megapixel snapper is located on the front side of this handset (OmniVision’s OV5648 sensor with LARGAN 4P lens), and a 2,260mAh battery is also a part of this package. This is a dual-SIM handset which offers 4G LTE connectivity and ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop pre-installed, and it also has Wolfson Stereo DAC included.

The Micromax Canvas Knight 2 will be available for purchase across India starting June 10. The device will be available from Airtel and will cost you Rs. 16,299 ($255) should you choose to purchase it.
