Gree Aims To Sell 50 Million Smartphones, According To Dong Mingzhu

Gree is a China-based smartphone OEM which is entering the smartphone market with their very own offering. Gree Energy is a very well-known company in China, but they’re new to the smartphone game. This company is led by one of China’s most respected entrepreneurs, Dong Mingzhu. This handset will be priced at 1,600 Yuan ($258), and according to Gree’s CEO, they aim to sell 50 million smartphones, though they didn’t discuss a deadline for that feat. It will be interesting to see how will they fare next to Xiaomi, Meizu, Huawei, and a ton of other Chinese smartphone OEMs.

Videocon Announces Infinium Z51 Nova Mid-Ranger For Rs. 5400 ($84)

The Infinium Z51 Nova sports a 5-inch 854 x 480 IPS display along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB). This handset is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, and will ship with a 2,000mAh battery. The 5-megapixel snapper is located on its back, while a 2-megapixel camera is available up front. This is a dual-SIM handset which offers 3G HSPA+ connectivity, and comes with Android 4.4 KitKat pre-installed. The phone comes in Blue and Grey color options and is priced at Rs. 5,400 ($84).

LG G4 To Launch In Australia On July 14, Pre-Orders Start Soon

The LG G4 was announced two months ago, and is one of the most powerful devices announced this year. LG’s new flagship features a 5.5-inch QuadHD display along with 3GB of RAM and multiple internal storage variants. This smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core processor, and it ships with a 16-megapixel OIS camera on the back. Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed here with LG’s UX 4.0 UI on top of Google’s operating system. The phone is available in a number of variants and colors, and the phone will launch in Australia on July 14. The phone will be available for a pre-order starting July 1st.
