Zeaplus M7 Is The Next Flagship Of The Company

Zeaplus is a relatively new Chinese smartphone and accessory maker, when they launched their site last November, they had available the Zeaplus M6, a smartphone that the company called “the alternative of the latest flagship phone”. It basically looked like an iPhone 6 and it even included features like a fingerprint sensor, LTE, an octa-core processor, a 4.7-inch Full HD screen and a 13-megapixel camera. A little later a new phone was announced, the Zeaplus M4 which looked kind of like the iPhone 5 from the front, and while its specs were a little more modest with a 5-inch HD display, an 8-megapixel camera and a quad-core processor, they still managed to include an aluminum frame in a $99 price. As of now, those smartphones are nowhere to be found on their site as they have now focused on some wearable devices that can be found from their site. They have 3 smartwatches available, including a $99 Motorola Moto 360 clone, a Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 clone priced at $59 and another round smartwatch priced at $69 as well as an activity tracker called Zeaplus Nut. The company has stated that they want to make affordable hardware that is beautifully designed and with a premium build.

Now, supposedly built with the same philosophy as their other products, the company has announced their next flagship simply called M7. It features more current specs like a 5.5-inch Full HD display and an octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor with 64-bit architecture along with 3 GB of RAM. There is supposed to be a fingerprint scanner, but the Home button seems to be capacitive, so perhaps it is located somewhere else. The main camera is a 13-megapixel one with an IM135 sensor from Sony and it will use a battery with the huge capacity of 3,800 mAh. Design wise, it appears to have a metallic frame and the front glass seems to be slightly curved on the edges. Even though it will use Android Lollipop, the wallpaper from the render belongs to the recently announced Android M. It is expected to be launched in June, but no pricing details are available, so we will have to wait a little longer.
