Canadians Get Pebble Time Via Best Buy For $250

In a world where Pebble was one of the first smartwatches on the market, it has grown into a huge business, with plenty of smartwatches to choose.  Pebble, though still a strong seller, was being left back as customers were demanding more from a smartwatch – from colored displays to making phone calls via your wrist.  Pebble has a loyal following to be sure, and many have patiently waited for the next rendition from the company that started it all, and just a few days ago, that wish was granted with the new Pebble Time.  We are also happy to report that Best Buy has once again, picked up the torch on the new Pebble Time and is offering it in White, Black or Red for $249.99.  They are offering free, next day delivery if ordered today by 3:00 PM EDT.  It is also available in many of the stores as well – check your area store by phone before you make the trip.  We must point out that you can still order your new Pebble Time directly from Pebble at a more reasonable price of $199.99.

Pebble answered with the full-colored display and incorporated seven (7) days between battery charges – the longest of all smartwatches…even the Android Wear devices normally need charging every night.  One of Pebble Time’s more interesting features is called ‘Timeline,’ where it organizes the items your care about the most – emails, notifications and calendar events – pinning them to a ‘Timeline’ of past, present and future happenings.  Wisely, the Pebble Time is compatible with both Android and iOS and will sync up with either OS.

The 1.25-inch color e-paper display is always on and with the thousands of available watch ‘faces,’ you can customize it to suit your tastes.  It is water resistant up to 30 meters, so swim or shower in it with no worries. It is 20-percent thinner than the original Pebble, with overall measurements of 40.4 x 37.5 x 9.5mm and weighs in at only 42.5 grams. As with most other smartwatches, it will track your activities while you sleep at night or run during the day.  It will sync up with many popular fitness apps and music apps – Pandora, iHeart Radio, etc.  Not one to sit on their laurels, Pebble, just days after the Pebble Time was released, has already sent out a huge update for the device as well as the original Pebble that adds many new features and adjustments.
