Dutch Retailer Listing Confirms Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo Details

All of the current Samsung talk is surrounding the Galaxy Note 5, the Galaxy S6 Edge+ and their latest smartwatch, the Samsung Gear A. Of course, this is to be expected as these will represent the latest flagship devices for Samsung and therefore, showcasing all that Samsung has to offer and has up their sleeves. That said, they are far from being the only products that Samsung are currently working on. In fact, as Samsung are a company who is known for releasing a ton of devices, it should not be too surprising that they have such a high number of rumored devices on the go at any one time.

Stepping away from the Note/S6 Edge news for a moment, another device which has been consistently hitting the headlines over the last few weeks is the Galaxy S5 Neo. Although, it might seem counterintuitive for Samsung to be releasing a Galaxy S5 variant so late into the Galaxy S6’s existence, this is what has been rumored of late. In fact, the first real indications that the device was en route, landed in the first week of June. Following which, the first week of July saw a device with the model number SM-G903F noted receiving WiFi certification. It was largely thought that this was the Galaxy S5 Neo.

Well, it now seems that further confirmation that model number SM-G903F in indeed the Galaxy S5 Neo and that the S Neo is indeed on its way is emerging. The latest confirmation comes from a Dutch retailer listing who is currently listing the S5 Neo and its details. One of which is the confirmation of the model number. While the specs had been debated in the past, the retailer listing does list a number of them which include a 5.1-inch display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. Inside, the S5 Neo is listed as coming with 2GB RAM and powered by a 64-bit Exynos 7580 octa-core processor (clocking at 16GHz). Additional features listed include a 16-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front facing camera, 16GB internal storage, a 2,800mAh battery and Android 5.1. Of course, the listing does not necessarily suggest it will make its way to other markets like the U.S., however, it does seem to further add to the confirmation that the S5 Neo is at least on the way.
