Moto E 4G LTE Arrives On Republic Wireless For $129

Back in February, Motorola announced the launch of one of their 2015 updated devices, the Moto E 4G LTE. That said, this was not your typical launch event and instead the announcement came by way of the company sending out a cardboard cutout of a launch event along with the device. This was a novel way to launch a device and certainly did attract some headlines thanks to its unique nature. That said, the main point was the announcing of the next generation Moto E and unlike the previous model, this one came touting 4G LTE support.

Since then a number of carriers have been slowly making the device available on their networks and the latest to make its availability known is Republic Wireless. The pre-paid carrier has announced that starting from today the Moto E 4G LTE will be available on its network and priced at only $129. If you need a quick reminder on what is on offer with the low-cost device, then the Moto E 4G LTE comes with a 4.5-inch display with a 960 x 540 resolution. Inside, The 2015 Moto E comes sporting 1GB RAM and powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (clocking at 1.2 GHz). In terms of storage, the Moto E comes equipped with 8GB as standard and does come with the option to expand via the inclusion of a microSD card slot (up to 32GB). While on the camera side of things, the Moto E 2015 comes equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera which is coupled with a VGA front facing option. Additional features include the already mentioned support for 4G LTE, a 2,390 mAh battery and the device comes running on Android 5.x (Lollipop) out of the box.

So all in all, when you consider the low cost of the Moto E 4G LTE, this is quite a good little device. Not the bets specs on offer but certainly a decent offering for the money.
