Oukitel's A28 Smartwatch Showcased In An Official Video

Oukitel is a Chinese smartphone OEM which is currently working on a number of interesting devices. We’ve talked about the Oukitel-branded smartphone which will sport a 10,000mAh battery, and the company will also release the Oukitel U6 handset which will feature two displays, similar to the Yotaphone actually. That’s not all though, the company has recently released the metal Oukitel U10 smartphone which sports 3GB of RAM, and also the Oukitel A28 smartwatch which we’ve talked about recently.

Speaking of that smartwatch, the company has released a hands-on video with the watch. They show off how to pair the smartwatch with either the iOS or Android device, and also show some of its functions, like the heartrate monitor for example. The Oukitel A28 features a 1.54-inch 240 x 240 display, it packs in a 250mAh battery, 128MB of RAM and 32MB of internal storage. MediaTek’s MT2502A SoC powers this smartwatch, and Bluetooth 4.0 is here for connection purposes. The Oukitel A28 is water resistant, and it comes packed with all sorts of fitness functions, and you can even track your sleep using this thing. A pedometer is, of course, also a part of this package, and some gestures are also available within the software, like the gesture which lets you wake the screen by raising your hand. The watch is made out of metal, and it will ship with a leather strap. The Oukitel A28 is compatible with Android 4.4+ and iOS 7.0+ operating systems. The watch measures 48 x 40 x 12.3, and it weighs 58 grams.

The Oukitel A28 is a nice looking watch which sports a power / lock button on its left side. The watch is actually available for pre-order for $56.99 as we speak, if you’d like to get a copy, you can visit GearBest’s listing by clicking here. You can purchase this thing in either Silver or Gold color options. The pre-order period ends on July 25th, and GearBest will presumably ship the orders then. There you have it folks, in case you’d like to check out the full hands-on video Oukitel posted on their official YouTube account, it’s embedded below this article.
