Oukitel A28 Smartwatch Now Available for $57

Oukitel is a new and coming brand from China that’s working to earn your attention by releasing products that fill a void in the sea of smart devices out there.  We’ve seen Oukitel release various Android-powered smartphones including the smartphone with the 10,000mAh battery, likely something that’ll get it a true week of battery life without having to turn the services off that actually make it a smartphone.  There are a number of other products Oukitel has been wowing us with lately too, one of which is the very Zenwatch-looking A28 smartwatch that works with both iOS and Android platforms; something that we don’t always see all that often.

In a world where both Google and Apple have their own operating systems for wearables that only work with said company’s smartphone operating system it’s refreshing to see a device that does its best to work with both platforms, given their popularity worldwide.  Oukitel isn’t just stopping with simply making notifications work with both platforms though, it’s gone a step further by including many features that users look for in a smartwatch.  Things like a pedometer, accurate heart rate monitor, remote camera shutter function, sedentary reminder, dialer and more.  All these features are packed in a metal frame with a real leather band; something that people have come to expect form regular watches regardless of any smart functionality that they may have.

While we’ve seen it teased and subsequently announced the Oukitel A28 smartwatch is up for pre-order right now for a pretty incredible $56.99 from Gearbest, a price that almost doesn’t even make sense when comparing it to the swatch of Android Wear powered smartwatches out there, much less Apple’s crazy Apple Watch pricing structure.  Those that are interested in giving it a shot can check out the Gearbest link above, or head to the manufacturer’s official page for the A28 smartwatch at the source link below.  Once the pre-order period has ended the product is slated to ship at the end of this month, or July 25th to be more precise.  As always it’s free shipping with a 3-5 dispatch window, so you’ll likely get the watch by the first week of August at the latest almost no matter where you live in the world.
