Ulefone is still a relatively unknown Chinese smartphone OEM, but they’re constantly releasing compelling devices and it seems like they’re growing one step at a time. This company, like many other China-based smartphone OEMs, are selling their devices via various Chinese retailers which ship them all over the world. Ulefone’s latest offering is the Be Touch 2 handset, a phone which packs in 3GB of RAM, a fingerprint scanner, and all around solid set of specs. The company is currently working on releasing a new variant of the Be Touch 2, and an Apple Watch look-alike. That’s not all though, Ulefone is working on yet another handset which we haven’t heard of thus far, read on.
According to the company’s latest teaser, Ulefone seems to be working on a new 5-inch smartphone. The names ‘Ulefone Lite’ and ‘Ulefone Air’ have been mentioned on the company’s official webpage, but it seems like the two names actually refer to the same device. The ‘Paris’ teaser has also surfaced, as you can see in the provided image. So, the question remains, which of the three names will this device carry. Anyhow, according to our source at the company, this device will sport a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display, and will be powered by MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor, which seems to be really popular in China lately. Unfortunately, we don’t have any more info when it comes to this smartphone, but we’ll let you know if something new pops up in the near future.
That being said, we also know the name of Ulefone’s upcoming smartwatch mentioned above, it will be called the Ulefone uWear. The new variant of Ulefone Be Touch 2 is named Ulefone Power, and it seems like it will sport a 6,200mAh battery on the inside. It will be interesting to see how will that device look like in the end, though we’ve seen a couple of handsets with 6,000mAh+ batteries included and they looked quite alright actually. Anyhow, that’s it, stay tuned for more info, we’ll report back as soon as possible.
