ZTE has announced some very interesting smartphones this year. This China-based smartphone OEM has unveiled their Nubia Z9 line, as well as the ZTE Axon smartphones. The majority of the phones ZTE unveiled this year are high-end offerings, and the company will soon announce yet another device, the ZTE V5. The press conference will be held on July 29th, which is tomorrow, so stay tuned for that. That being said, we’re here to talk about yet another high(er)-end smartphone ZTE announced earlier this month, the ZTE Nubia MyPrague. We’ve already covered the initial announcement of this smartphone, and are here to take a closer look at the device.
If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see a number of real life MyPrague images as well as a number of camera samples, courtesy of IT168. This handset actually sports a metallic frame, as you can notice in the images. Both its power / lock and volume rocker physical buttons are located on the right-hand side of this smartphone, and the circular capacitive button characteristic for ZTE is still here. The side bezels are quite thin, which makes the device look rather nice. The Nubia MyPrague is only 5.5mm thick, and as you can see, the device sports chamfered edges on its frame.
The Nubia MyPrague features a 5.2-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) Super AMOLED display, along with 2GB / 3GB of RAM (two variants available) and 16 or 32GB of expandable internal storage. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core SoC manufactured by Qualcomm, and a 2,200mAh battery is also a part of this package. The 13-megapixel snapper (Phase Detection Auto Focus tech included) is available on the back of the phone, and below it you’ll find an LED flash. The 8-megapixel shooter is located up front (CMOS, f/2.4 aperture), and this device also offers dual-SIM and 4G LTE connectivity.
ZTE has also included the ‘FiT’ gestures in this phone’s software as well, which were exclusive to the Nubia Z9 until this phone launched. The MyPrague was announced in Prague and Beijing thus far, and we’re waiting for additional availability information at the moment.
