Amazon is giving away 39 premium Android apps and games for free through its Amazon Appstore. The total value of software on offer is a cool $90, which can be yours for the low, low price of free! The offer is applicable from Thursday, August 13th thru Saturday, August 15th. The apps on Amazon’s giveaway list include security software like AVG AntiVirus PRO Android Security, which costs $11.99 normally, to games like Fruit Ninja which are easier on the wallet at just 99¢. Also on the list are productivity apps like Docs To Go Premium Key, which normally comes with a price-tag of $9.99 to image manipulators like Photo Lab PRO, which would normally cost $2.99.
Taking a quick look at the full list of available apps, more than half the software on offer seems to be games, including titles like Goat Simulator, Bunker Constructor and Nyan Cat: Lost in Space. The selection also includes workout apps like Daily Ab Workout, which normally has a 99¢ price-tag attached. While AVG Antivirus is the only security app on offer, there are a couple other photo editors on offer apart from the one mentioned above. There are also some puzzles thrown into the mix, like Cubistry, which normally carries a 99¢ price-tag and an app about cupcake recipes that come also for a penny less than a dollar.
For the uninitiated, you need not be a Fire Phone user to take advantage of Amazon’s offer. Regular Android phones are also compatible with the Amazon App Store, so just about anybody can download and install the Amazon app on their phones and take advantage of the offer.
