It seems as though this year, more than any other year, the rumors and speculation have been much higher. This might just be the recency effect, however, with the usual Samsung, HTC and LG rumors, there has also been those coming through from less traditional Android manufacturers like Nokia and BlackBerry. While the Nokia rumors seem to be more smoke than anything else right now, the BlackBerry rumors seem anything but rumors. What started off as simply a possibility has quickly developed into a strong indication that BlackBerry is gearing up to release an Android powered smartphone
In fact, it was only this morning when the latest of the rumors came through. That news was of particular importance as the news stated that the BlackBerry Venice had been confirmed for a November release. Not to mention, the same rumor also stated that it will be available in the U.S. on all our major carriers. But that was not all, the rumor also came with a new render of the device. That is quite a lot of information for one rumor and came courtesy of known tipster @evleaks.
Well, in typical @evleaks fashion, @eveleaks has now gone and added more fuel to the BlackBerry fire by releasing a short video of what looks to be the BlackBerry Venice. Now, there was no further details provided by @evleaks and instead the video simply came with an “Eye candy” statement. However, the video itself does seem to show a number of what would appear to be official renders of the device. The keyboard is obviously on show and what does identify this as a BlackBerry device. However there is also a shot of the camera on the back and even a brief glimpse of size. In fact, on this last point, the size image shows one device sliding up towards the other and their heights never reaching a unified level. Whether this is an indication that there may be two size variants is speculative, but worth pointing out. Either way, you can check out the images for yourself below or hit the source link to check out the video in full.
