Featured: Top 10 FPS/TPS Games For Android

If you get high on action and love taking out enemies with a spray of bullets or besting your opponents in high intensity multiplayer, FPS games are for you and there’s plenty of good ones for Android worth looking into. Here’s a list of ten of the best FPS titles on Android you can find.

Blitz Brigade

Fans of Team Fortress 2 on Steam might be familiar with this type of gameplay. Blitz Brigade is all out war between you and the enemy team with various weapons and character class types. It’s multiplayer mayhem at some of its best without being too serious.

Major GUN

Cell shaded graphics give this FPS a nice visual appearance, but it’s quite unlike most other FPS games you’ll play. Instead of using a set of digital on-screen controls to move your character around the phone itself is your reticle. Simply move the phone screen around to view different parts of the level and take out your enemies in this on rails FPS.

Shadowgun Deadzone

Shadowgun Deadzone is another game all about multiplayer with deathmatch and a few other game types where you can go head to head against other players. There are multiple characters to choose from with plenty of them only available after an unlock, and the same goes for better weaponry. Playing more rewards you with XP and level ups so you can advance and get better gear.

Dead Effect

There are more than a few zombie FPS titles on Android, and although this is one of them the graphics and awesome campaign mode are delightful. Outfit yourself with tons of weapons and fight your way through a horde of zombies in space.

Dead Trigger 2

The sequel to the infamous Dead Trigger. Dead Trigger 2 is by no means a new game but it’s still one of the better FPS titles out there. It can get a little monotonous at times, but there’s enough stuff to unlock and new weapons to acquire that make it great for a few minutes of zombie mayhem once a day.

The Conduit HD

This is a single player FPS title which centers itself around an alien invasion. It’s a port of an older console game from 2009 fitted with a little bit of modern boost for touch screens. The graphics are good and there’s tons of weaponry and aliens to take down as you play through the story.

N.O.V.A 3

Think of the NOVA series as a gameloft version of Halo, because that’s exactly what it is. There’s no shame in that though, because this third installment in the franchise for mobile is still an awesome FPS title with great graphics, a single player campaign, multiplayer, and more. There’s also now a free version of the game that’s ad-supported.

Call of Duty Strike Team

Call of Duty is the favorite FPS series for many on consoles and PC, and Strike Team brings much of what’s lovable about those games to the mobile space. The game is unique though in that you can switch between a first and third person view to suit your play style or to suit specific situations better. There’s perks, unlocks, and tons of tactical action here too.

Modern Combat 5

Modern Combat is hailed as the definitive FPS franchise for mobile, and Modern Combat is the best game in the series yet. The graphics are the best they’ve ever been, and you’ll find both single player and multiplayer modes here to provide you with hours of fun. There’s also been a decent number of content updates added in with more likely on the way so there will be new stuff to enjoy.

Deus Ex The Fall

Deus Ex has always been one of the most fantastic FPS games you’ll find with it’s unique blend of action like you’d find in a first person shooter, and the progression elements as well as deep storytelling of an RPG. There’s hours of content and pretty visuals that makes this FPS title well worth your time.
