If you’re racking your brain for what to play this weekend, we might be able to help you out as we’ve rounded up some of this week’s top game releases. There should be something to suit just about everyone’s tastes whether you’re a casual gamer or a little more hardcore.
Beat Bop: Pop Star Clicker
This is probably the poster child for casual games. Beat Bop: Pop Star Clicker lets you play with simple controls as all you have to do is tap the screen to evolve your music, add band members and more. It might be everyones cup of tea, but there are sure to be plenty who will love it.
Cupcake 2048
If you enjoy puzzle titles and food, or rather sweets, Cupcake 2048 just might be the game for you. This is simply a variant of the original 2048 puzzle hit but with cupcakes instead. This is essentially just the original 2048 without numbers, so if you’re familiar with the original this should be a fun new take on it.
The Maze
This is another puzzle title and much like the name suggests, it tasks you with finding your way out of a huge maze. There are elements at play here though to make the game more challenging, as you’ll need to find your way out of the maze before the screen catches up with you or it’s game over.
The Walking Dead: Road To Survival
This is a role playing based game based on the popular graphic novels of The Walking Dead. It takes on a graphic novel visual style and you’ll be able to do everything from taking down zombies who stand in your way to gathering resources and tools to help you fortify your compound so you can stay safe. There is plenty of single player gameplay here but there is also some PvP elements you can interact with.
Frame
This is a fun and unique take on a puzzle game which tasks you with finding your way out of specific situations frame by frame. You can rearrange and reorganize the frames any way you like but they won’t always lead to the most desirable outcome, however, they will all have some lively animations which might make it fun to rearrange things the wrong way anyway. Everything takes on the look of an animated comic book style which only adds to the allure.
Blitzcrank’s Poro Roundup
This awesome little arcade game is for the League of Legends fans, but to be completely honest it’s quite fun and anyone who isn’t a fan of League of Legends may still enjoy it. The goal is to round up all the furry poro creatures before the giant monster known as Baron Nahsor snatches them up. You have limited lives and have to attempt to grab them all with your extendable arm, but you’ll run into obstacles along the way in the form of boss fights against other Legaue of Legends characters through a varied collection of levels based on the game.
