Oh, here we are, just one day from the official Samsung announcement of the new Galaxy Note 5 – among other things – and we already know just about everything, although we hope that Samsung held something back to surprise us. It is kind of like already knowing what you are getting for your birthday present, but you almost wish you didn’t know…especially when that is all that you are getting. In the latest leak, is not so much the device itself, but another company, ULAK, already have their Galaxy Note 5 cases on Amazon for $14.99 and FREE shipping, although they are listed as not available until September 5.
Let’s take a quick look at ULAK’s Lumenair Series of Galaxy Note 5 cases – they are basically a clear and light-weight case that really showcases the Note 5. They call it a “message blink dual layer hybrid protective case.” It has a hard transparent back plastic panel and a luminous soft protective TPU bumper cover that comes in five colors – Black, Blue, Gold, Silver and Red. The list price is showing as $29.99, but Amazon shows them at $14.99 and FREE shipping and in-stock September 5 with an estimated delivery date of September 9 – 11.
What is so unique about the Lumenair Series is that you should set up your Galaxy Note 5 to turn on the LED notification before you use the case via Setting–>Device–>Sounds & notifications–>LED indicator. The soft silicone bumper also has a Night Glow Function to make it easier to locate your Galaxy Note 5 in the dark. It has precise cut-outs that give you easy access to all functionality and buttons on your Note 5. The Lumenair Series is designed around the essence of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 – protecting the device, but at the same time allowing its beauty to shine through.
When purchasing a new smartphone, especially made with a lot of glass, one of our first thoughts is to protect our expensive investment. The back of the new Galaxy Note 5 is still up for discussion as to whether it is glass like its Galaxy S6 sibling or metal, but either way, it is nice to protect your device from the inevitable drops.
