The new website is designed to celebrate all the various components of Android and especially the more out there and creative Android work. According to the blog post listing, going forward, Android Experiments will act a “showcase for of inspiring projects on Android”. The blog posts also notes that there are currently twenty experiments which you can check out right now. Although, the blog post does also act as an open invitation to developers to submit their experiments for consideration. In fact, regardless of your level of proficiency in developing, Google is extending the invitation to those who are interested in showcasing their Android creative side by submitting their offerings.
In terms of the content already up there, it seems the website follows in the tradition of the already available Chrome Experiments, albeit with the focus on Android instead of Chrome.
