As the approach to IFA continues, the news and rumors of what to expect from the latest smartphones and smartwatches also continues. One of those which is expected to show its face at IFA is the Vibe P1 from Lenovo. Over the last few weeks, the Vibe P1 has been subject to a mass of leaks including real life images which appeared only a couple of days ago and a full spec listing which appeared just days before. Of the specs, the one which has rightfully has attracted the biggest number of headlines is that the Vibe P1 will come equipped with a massive 5,000 mAh battery.
Well, the latest emerging from the Vibe P1 rumor mill is that it will not only come touting a massive battery capacity but will also come with an integrated method to ensure the device always runs cool. The latest information suggests the Vibe P1 will be equipped with a liquid cooling system which will consist of a small metal tube filled with liquid and will essentially keep the smartphone from overheating in any capacity. Although, this may sound more like a measure a company might employ to combat the doubts behind the Snapdragon 810, it is actually the Snapdragon 615 processor which comes loaded on the Vibe P1 and this is not one which has been attributed to being an ‘overheating processor’. Either way though, it seems Lenovo are taking no chances and with that massive battery, are set to ensure the Vibe P1 consistently runs cool.
In terms of the rest of the specs, the Vibe P1 is said to comes sporting a 5.5-inch display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. Inside, the Vibe P1 is loaded with 3GB RAM and powered by the already mentioned Snapdragon 615 Octa-core processor (clocking at 1.5 GHz). In terms of cameras, the Vibe P1 is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera, which is coupled with a 5-megapixel front facing camera. Additional features on offer include the massive 5,000mAh battery, 16GB internal storage, microSD card, 2G, 3G and 4G support. While the Vibe P1 will come running on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) out of the box.
