Oppo R7 Plus is one of the two devices Oppo has announced back in May. This Chinese smartphone OEM has showcased the Oppo R7 and R7 Plus handset, along with a new variant of the company’s Android-based UI, ColorOS. That being said, the Oppo R7 Plus was available only in China up until a week ago, when the company decided to launch it in Southeast Asia markets. Well, it seems like Oppo plans to make this phablet available in a slew of additional markets, read on.
The company will make the Oppo R7 Plus available in Europe and the US soon. Oppo did not share the exact date when will this handset be available, but we’ll let you know as soon as that happens. We also don’t know the exact price of this thing just yet, but it could cost around $470-500, judging by its price in China, of course. It is also worth mentioning that the Oppo R7 has been available in significantly more markets than the Oppo R7 Plus, at least until now. Selling the Oppo R7 Plus in Europe and the US will surely benefit Oppo, presuming the managed to sell enough devices that is.
The Oppo R7 Plus phablet sports a 6-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) AMOLED display, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of in-built storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core SoC fuels this smartphone, but there’s a MediaTek MT6795M variant also available out there. The Snapdragon version will almost certainly roll out to Europe and US though. The device also sports a 13-megapixel camera (dual-LED flash + Laser Autofocus) on its back, and an 8-megapixel shooter up front. The 4,100mAh battery is also available on the inside, and the device offers VOOC fast charging as well (0 to 75% in 30 minutes). Oppo’s ColorOS 2.1 ships on top of Android, and the device offers 4G LTE connectivity, of course. The fingerprint scanner is also available on the back of this phablet, and the device measures 158 x 82. x 7.8mm.
