Verizon Pricing & Availability For The Galaxy S6 Edge+

Earlier today, Samsung took to the stage in New York City for their annual Unpacked event. As to be expected, both the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 was announced, as was the much rumored upon Galaxy S6 Edge+. As well as the details of the two devices being confirmed, Samsung also announced that the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus would be available from all the main U.S carriers starting from today.

Well, the next carrier to make their intention to stock and sell the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ is Verizon, who has now confirmed that the Galaxy S6 Edge+ will be available on their network. The announcement details that the Galaxy S6 Edge+ is available to pre-order from 3pm ET and will be availaable to check out in participating stores starting from tomorrow. Verizon has also confirmed they will be stocking both the Black Sapphire and Gold Platinum 32GB models and only the Black Sapphire 64GB model. In terms of pricing, Verizon has confirmed that the 32GB model will be available for $32 per month on a two-year contract while the 64GB model will be available for $36 per month on a two-year contract. In addition, Verizon has confirmed that for a limited time, those who trade in a smartphone (in a good working order) will receive a $200 credit towards the purchase of a Galaxy S6 Edge+. While those who bring their number over to Verizon will receive a $100 bill credit withing two to three billing cycles.

If you missed the earlier announcement, the Galaxy S6 Edge+ is the latest to join the Galaxy S6 family. However, unlike the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, the S6 Edge+ is much more similar to the Note 5 in size, sporting a 5.7-inch display with a 2560 x 1440 resolution. Other specs on offer with the S6 Edge+ are very much in line with the standard Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge and include the same Exynos 7420 processor, 16-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front facing camera, wireless charging and of course, the dual curved Edges with their own unique features and aspects. In terms of the upgrades, as well as the size of the display, Samsung confirmed the Galaxy S6 Edge+ will come sporting 4GB RAM and a larger 3000 mAh battery.
