Video: Elephone P8000 Software Overview

Elephone has been rolling for a while on their Android releases, pumping out nearly 2 dozen phones last year and already have released another dozen this year alone.  The P8000 is among the very latest out of the gates and features a fantastic metal build, one of the newest MediaTek octa-core processors as well as the very latest version of Android available, Android 5.1 Lollipop.  It’s this software in particular that we’re focusing on today, taking you through all the things that are new and different from the previous release by Elephone found in the P7000.  We’ve got the full review right here that you can check out, but if you just want to see the software that powers the experience look no further than the video below.

The Elephone P8000 belongs in the mid-range line of Elephone’s lineup and fits squarely in the rest of their portfolio.  While Elephone is expanding into the territory of more expensive premium device like the oddly named Vowney which retails for $299, the Elephone P8000 is a mere $170 retail price.  If the P8000 impresses you as much as it impressed us you can pick it up at GearBest for $159.99.  GearBest is our trusted supplier for many Chinese phones and they often offer a better price than you can find elsewhere.  Check out the video below and let us know what you think of Elephone’s additions to stock Android!
