Another LG Nexus 2015 Image Showing Back & Front Surfaces

Less than an hour ago, the latest image rumored to be of the next LG Nexus (aka the LG Nexus 5X) emerged online and showed the device from a number of different sides. While the back of the device has been seen a number of times in recent images which have shown up online, the front of the device had yet to be seen and certainly not as clearly. Well, it never rains but it pours in rumor land and now another image is appearing online which seems to be equally as revealing as the first image.

The image shown above is said to come from an LG internal slide which was showcasing the device. Interestingly, the image also shows that the LG Nexus was apparently codenamed ‘Project N3’ during its early stages. For those following, this is the third LG Nexus and therefore N3 seems to make sense. Besides the codename, the image shows a very close resemblance to the front of the device leaked earlier today with the same sort of bezel level and the same on-screen buttons. Which does lend further support to them both likely to be of the device. On a separate note, the back of the device in the image also clearly shows what is a black (or at least dark blue) version of the LG Nexus. Which is in contrast to the majority of white back device images we have seen of late.

Along with the images, the source information suggests further confirmation of a number of the specs on offer. In terms of those specs, the information states the LG Nexus will come equipped with a 5.2-inch display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. The device is said to be powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor (clocking at 1.8 GHz) and will actually be available in 32GB and 64GB variants. It had been previously rumored to only be released in 16 and 32GB variants. The latest confirms the camera on the back will be a 12.3-megapixel offering while the front facing camera will be a 5-megapixel camera. Everything will be powered by a 2,700 mAh battery and the device will come running on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). Interestingly, the report does also suggest 2GB RAM which is different to what other rumors have been suggesting. Although, the report also does say that this last part (2GB RAM) is still to be confirmed.
