Ulefone is a China-based company we’ve talked about quite a few times by now. This is not a big company, but they do tend to release quite a few solid smartphones per year. We’ve reviewed the Ulefone Be One a while back, and have done the same with the Ulefone Be Touch 2 quite recently. That being said, Ulefone is getting ready to launch a new device soon, a device which has been teased quite oftenly by now, the Ulefone Paris. The company didn’t actually officially announce this thing, but the device is already available for pre-order at GearBest, and we know everything there is to know about it at this point.
Either way, our source at the company has passed along some new images of the Ulefone Be Paris for us to check out. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll see a couple of really sleek Ulefone Paris images. This device sports a metallic frame, and three capacitive buttons below the display. The device actually looks like a blend between an older iPhone handset, and some of ZTE’s offerings. The design here is quite minimalistic, which is something you either love or hate. Anyhow, let’s take a look at Ulefone Paris’ specs, shall we.
This handset sports a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) IPS OGS display along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The device is powered by MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core SoC running at 1.3GHz, and a 2,200mAh battery is also a part of this package. The 13-megapixel camera is located on the back of the Ulefone Paris, and a 5-megapixel snapper is available up front. This handset offers 4G LTE connectivity (FDD-LTE 800/1800/2100/2600MHz), and a dual-SIM support is also available. Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed on the Ulefone Paris, and Ulefone has added some of their own gestures and software onto stock Android, though this is not a heavy skin or anything of the sort. That’s more or less it, the device is now available for pre-order from GearBest, and Ulefone is expected to officially announce it soon.
