Lenovo Vibe X3 GeekBench Results Suggest Mid-Range Performance

In spite of having the Motorola brand in its pocket, Lenovo seems to be on its forward march when it comes to releasing its own line of smartphones. It was only back at IFA when the massive battery touting Lenovo Vibe P1 was unveiled, along with a few other devices. And even those recent announcements have not stopped further Lenovo news on their devices coming through. For instance, it was only few hours ago when two new Lenovo smartphones were noted passing through China’s regulatory authority, TENAA.

That said, one of the devices which has been gaining attention of late is the Lenovo Vibe X3. It was only last week when the Vibe X3 was spotted passing through GFXBench and this offered the first real insight into a number of the specs the device will be coming with. Now, it looks like it is the turn of GeekBench as the Lenovo Vibe X3 has now been spotted again. In short, most of the specs for the Vibe X3 were noted back in the GFXBench listing so there is no major revelation here in that respect. However, one interesting point to note with the GeekBench results is that they clearly seem to indicat that the Vibe X3 will indeed by a mid-range performing device. The GeekBench results highlight that the single-core score for the Vibe X3 is 863 while the multi-core score came in at 3167. When you take these in comparison to a number of other devices coming through which are designed to be more flagship offerings, they typically score roundabout twice what has been noted for the Vibe X3. Therefore, indicating what is likely to be a much more mid-range device.

In terms of the rest of the GeekBench results, the Vibe X3 will come running on Android 5.1.1 and will be sporting the Snapdragon Qualcomm 808 processor (clocking at 1.4 GHz). While the memory looks to be at 3GB RAM. So although, aspects like 3GB RAM will place this at the higher end of the mid-range spectrum, the performance results do suggest it will be mid-range overall. Of course, whether that equates to a mid-range pricing remains to be seen.
