Letv is a rather interesting company which has released three really compelling smartphones earlier this year. The company has unveiled Le 1, Le 1 Pro and Le Max devices (dubbed ‘Le Superphones’) back in April, all of which sport high-end specs and very sleek design. Interesting enough, these are their first smartphones. Letv is first and foremost a Chinese entertainment company, and very famous in China actually. They’ve been founded back in 2004, and have managed to do really good for themselves thus far. Anyhow, we’ve talked about Letv’s smartphones quite a few times thus far, and now we have some additional news to share with you, read on.
This company has held their ‘Black9.19’ one-day sales festival in China, and their sales topped $270 million, which actually makes it China’s 3rd largest e-commerce festival. The company has managed to sell 572,000 units of their Le Superphone devices, while the company’s Super TV sales hit 355,000 units. This festival, as its name says, was held a couple of days ago. It is also worth mentioning that during the festival, Letv’s Le Superphones also broke the record for single-day online flagship phones sales, both in terms of revenue and volume. The company made sure to offer all sorts of discounts during the festival, of course. Aside from Le Superphone and Smart TV sales, the company has also offered smart routers, earphones, Bluetooth speakers, etc.
That being said, Letv has already teased the arrival of their Snapdragon 820-powered device for 2016, and it seems like Le Max 2 might be the device to feature Qualcomm’s newest chip. A recent report has mentioned that the company’s upcoming phablet might be powered by the Snapdragon 820, and that it might also sport a significantly smaller display than the 1st-gen Le Max device, which features a huge 6.33-inch panel. Another Letv-branded device which leaked recently is the Letv 1S (X500), a mid-high end smartphone which showed up on AnTuTu earlier this month. It seems like Letv is taking this whole smartphone business quite seriously, and that we can expect them to offer some really compelling handsets moving forward. That’s more or less it, stay tuned for additional Letv info, we’ll report back as soon as something new pops up.
