Gamers who are holding their breath for the announcement of the launch date of the new Need For Speed No Limits, finally have reason to rejoice. Electronic Arts have announced the release date for the long-awaited racing game, and we are looking at a worldwide release on September 30th. The game will be free to play as announced beforehand and will be based on a Freemium model – you will be able to buy in-game items to speed up things, but the casual player will be able to play the game without paying anything just fine. The game was first announced in November 2014 and has been in development ever since. The team developing the game would be Electronic Arts and Firemonkeys who was also the developer of the highly successful predecessor: Need For Speed Most Wanted.

The game went up for pre-registration on September 20th, 2015 as millions of Android gamers flocked to Google Play Store to pre-register their copy and be able to download the game on the launch day. There is additional bonus content for those who have already pre-registered and download the game within the first two days of the launch. The extra in-game contents include a “Subaru BRZ, exclusive performance parts and an in-game cash bonus of $50,000. Expectations from this game are high as we’ve come to expect from the franchise over the years. They have been highly successful across all the platforms, and if the trailer of the game is anything to go by, this game will live up to the expectations.

You can collect real-world cars and be able to utilize the most advanced customizations  possible, along with all standard Need For Speed attributes we’re accustomed to, like adequate amount of car customization from rim job to paint jobs, decals and more, with auto tuning to engine upgrades and nitrous boosters in cue as well. A wide range of vehicles is also expected with the likes of Porsche, Nissan, Acura, Toyota, Scion and others taking part. According to reports, licensed body kits from Rocket Bunny, Mad Mike, and Vaughn Gittin Jr. will be available along with as many as 250 million other customizations. Some of the in-game modes according to EA would be Time Trial, Car Delivery, and Duel modes. How the device will fare on the latest flagships, and its compatibility with older devices will be a deciding factor in the success of the new game.
