Nexus 5X & 6P India Pricing Revealed, Nexus 6 Discounted

Yesterday was Google’s ‘Nexus’ day. The company has announced two new Nexus handsets (LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P), and a new Nexus-like tablet, the Pixel C. The Mountain View giant has also unveiled the new Chromecast, and the Chromecast Audio devices. That being said, we’re here to talk about the pricing of new Nexus devices in India, world’s second largest smartphone market.

So, how much will these two handsets cost in India? Well, the Nexus 5X pricing will start at Rs. 31,900 ($485), for the 16GB of internal storage variant. The Nexus 6P, on the other hand, will cost Rs. 39.999 ($609), and we’re talking about the cheapest 32GB model here. That’s not all though, the company has decided to discount the Nexus 6 in the country, and the device now costs Rs. 39,999 ($609) for the 32GB model, but keep in mind that you might be able to purchase it for even less cash if you look at third-party stores based in India.

The Nexus accessory pricing has also been revealed. The Nexus 6P folio case will cost Rs. 3,900, and the regular case will be priced at Rs. 2,800 ($43). Furthermore, the Adopted Protective Case for the 6P will cost Rs. 1,800 ($27), and the Speck Candyshell Grip Case will set you back Rs. 3,000 ($46) in the country. The Type-C USB 3.0 charger costs Rs. 1,799.99 ($27), the Type-C to Type-C cable is priced at Rs. 1,399.99 ($21), while the standard USB to Type-C cable can be purchased for Rs. 909.99 ($14).

The LG Nexus 5X is the new Nexus smartphone. This device sports a 5.2-inch 1080p display, along with 2GB of RAM and 16/32GB of internal storage. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core processor, and packs in a 2,700mAh battery. The Huawei Nexus 6P, on the other hand, features a 5.7-inch QHD display, 3GB of RAM and 32/64/128GB of native storage. This phablet is powered by the Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor, and ships with a 3,450mAh battery. Both of these devices sport 12.3-megapixel cameras on the back, and come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
