Pricing for Nexus 6P in different sizes & Countries Leak Out

As most of you know, Google will be finally unveiling the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P at their event in San Francisco today. In a little over an hour, actually. Although many of the details have already leaked out, there were still a few tidbits that we did not know about yet, and one of those just leaked out. Leaving us with even less information needed from Google’s event. According to a press release, we now have a table showing the price for the Nexus 6P in a variety of countries, as well as the price for each storage size.

Looking at the table that’s down below, we see that the 32GB version is still listed as $499, which is what we reported yesterday. The 64GB model is going to be a $50 up-charge to $549, and the 128GB is another $50 up-charge bringing it to $649. This means that this year’s Nexus 6P 128GB is the same price as last year’s Nexus 6 32GB model. Quite the difference. Below that you’ll see the prices for the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, Australia, South Korea, France, Germany and Hong Kong. Many of these countries were not listed as having the Nexus 6P (or the Nexus 5X) available for pre-order today, but it looks like they will at least get the Nexus 6P at some point. From the leak yesterday, it appears that the US, UK, Ireland, and Japan will be getting pre-orders started today.

It won’t be long before we know whether this information is right or not. But it does sound pretty legit. Last year, Google sold the Nexus 6 in 32GB and 64GB models, which had a $50 difference between the two. Making Google one of the only manufacturers to double your storage for $50 instead of the $100 that most companies try to do. Google’s Nexus event kicks off in San Francisco at 12pm EST/9am PST. We are there live and in person to bring you all of the details and get some hands on with the device after the announcement is over. So make sure you keep it locked to Android Headlines for all of the details today.
