While the last few months have been packed full of speculation and rumors, an interesting new one began to surface this morning. The device in question is an LG device and had been spotted passing through the Chinese regulation authority, TENAA. While devices pass through TENAA all the time, what made this one so interesting was no one seemed to know what it was. While the instant assumption is to think it might be the LG G4 Pro or G4 Note, the images which came with the TENAA listing seemed to suggest otherwise. Namely, due to the addition of a “V” logo which was placed on the back of the device. That said, the V was not the only interesting aspect noted, as it also seemed that the front-facing camera was embedded into the display. Well, following on from the initial image news, known leakster, @evleaks has now taken to twitter to offer his insight on to the device.
In the first instance, @evleaks does confirm that this is not going to be with the LG G4 Pro or G4 Note and instead also draws on the same V imagery on the back of the device. To add to the confirmation that it is not either of the highly rumored LG devices, @evleaks did state the specs that he believes the new Mystery V10 device will come with.
In term of the specs being touted by @evleaks, the mystery device will come sporting a 5.7-inch display with a QHD resolution. Inside, the device will be equipped with 3GB RAM and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor. Storage will be set at 64GB as standard and it will also come with a microSD card slot for further expansion. In terms of cameras, the device will be loaded with a 16-megapixel rear camera, which is coupled with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. However, that is not all, @evleaks also notes that the device comes with a secondary display and also a fingerprint scanner built-in. Possibly, the most important aspect of @evleaks revelation is that the device will launch in October. So, if correct, it won’t be too long until to we find out what the mystery LG V (or LG V10) device actually is.
