Ulefone is one of many China-based smartphone OEMs who are trying to make a name for themselves in the market. Like many other Chinese OEMs, this company is selling their devices via a number of Chinese resellers, and their products are usually quite affordable. We’ve already reviewed a couple of Ulefone-branded smartphones in the past, like the Ulefone Be Touch 2 which was reviewed quite recently actually. Well, we’re not here to talk about one of Ulefone’s smartphones this time around, but their new smartwatch. Some of you might recall we’ve already shared two renders of Ulefone uWear back in July, well, the Ulefone uWear is now officially released and already available for pre-order.
The Ulefone uWear is definitely inspired by an Apple Watch, to say the least. This smartwatch sports a 1.44-inch display along with 32MB of RAM, and 32MB of internal storage. Bluetooth 4.0 is used to connect the watch to your smartphone / tablet, and a 220mAh battery is available on the inside. The 2.5D curved glass is placed on top of this display, and Ulefone uWear is compatible with both Android and iOS (iOS 5.0+). This watch also sports IP65 certification for water and dust resistance, and is made out of stainless steel. The watch doesn’t run Android Wear, or any other type of Android for that matter, but a third party software which is compatible with Google’s OS. The watch weighs 45 grams, and is already available for pre-order.
Speaking of pre-orders, you can currently pre-order this, and in order to do it, visit the source link down below which will take you to Ulefone’s official website. The Ulefone uWear is currently priced at $22-29.99, and it is available in both Black and Silver color options. Speaking of color options, you can check out both of these variants in the gallery down below. The Ulefone uWear is definitely inspired by the Apple Watch, as we’ve already mentioned, but if you’re looking for a cheaper alternative which is compatible with Android, and you find Android Wear watches to be too expensive, this could be something you might want to consider.
