Dedicated Android TV HBO GO App Now Available

The last year has seen a ton of new content becoming available for Android TV. Of course, if you ask any Android TV device owner, they would probably say there is not enough content and apps available for the platform and that is true, however, compared to before, the number of apps which are seeing their support extended to Android is growing. This is likley to continue as well going forward with more companies seemingly keen to jump on board the latest Android platform.

In fact, one area which has seen masses of support coming through of late, is from the actual content providers and suppliers. Sling TV has added support for Android TV, as has HBO with their NOW app, as has CBS with their All Access App. That said, in spite of HBO making their NOW app compatible, there was still no full Android TV app available for their HBO GO App. That now seems to have changed.

HBO has now flipped the switch and released to the Play Store a dedicated HBO GO app just for Android TV. Of course, to make use of this app you will need a HBO subscription, but if you have one and own an Android TV device, then this is likely going to be an app you will want to download as it will provide you with access to all your favorite HBO content. Interestingly, this app has been a long time in coming, as it was announced quite some time ago and at present, there is no confirmation as to why it has taken so long. Either way though, it is now here and for those who were waiting on it, it is now available to download. To find out more or download the app from the Play Store, hit the link below. Of course, if you do not have an HBO subscription, then this will be no good to you and you are better off checking out HBO NOW which comes with a thirty day trial and allows you to sign-up to an app subscription without already being a HBO customer.
