Samsung Galaxy S7 rumors are getting out of control. This Korea-based tech giant has introduced their Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge smartphones back in March, which essentially means their successor(s) probably won’t arrive before February or March, which is the timeframe Samsung usually releases their ‘Galaxy S’ flagships in. That didn’t stop a ton of rumors and reports to surface in the last couple of weeks, we basically see new Galaxy S7-related stuff on a daily basis now. Yesterday’s rumor said that the Galaxy S7 might launch sooner than expected, as soon as January, and a day before that a Type-C port rumors surfaced.
Well, we have two new reports which are sharing more alleged info when it comes to Samsung’s upcoming flagship. The first rumor comes from China, and it talks about Galaxy S7’s sound quality. The device will allegedly feature the Sabre 9018AQ2M released by ESS Technology. This unit allegedly offers great sound quality, and if this is true, Galaxy S7 might be a true audio powerhouse. The 9018AQ2M has a 129dB signal-to-noise ratio, and it also supports formats like PCM and DSD up to 32-bit and 384Khz.
As already mentioned, this is not the only piece of Galaxy S7 news today. Another rumor from China claims that the Galaxy S7 will sport a magnesium alloy body, while glass will also be a part of the picture. So, how does a magnesium build + a glass back cover sound to you? Well, that sounds premium, but it remains to be seen how will it work in real life, presuming this rumor is accurate, of course. Samsung’s Galaxy S7 flagship will reportedly going to be fueled by the company’s upcoming Exynos 8890 SoC, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor. Samsung is allegedly getting ready to release two variants of the device once again, after releasing only an Exynos variant in Galaxy S6’s case (due to Snapdragon 810 heating issues).
